Second Nature comprises of Rob and Anna who hold space as musicians and sound healers mostly at ceremonial healing and meditation circles, creating sacred space through a range of instruments including gongs, dijeridoo, crystal bowls, tibetan bowls, chimes, shruti, overtone singing, hammered dulcimer, hang drum, thumb pianos and guitar.

Our acoustic music is an authentic blend of guitar, hammered dulcimer, vocals and the occasional djembe or udu. The conscious lyrics and sweet melodies uplift the spirit and soothe the soul, bringing the listener into a place of balance and contemplation.

The compositions on Second Nature’s album “Holding Space” have been inspired by the deep insights into the spiritual essence of life. They are a collection of inspirational and soulful songs about….. love, healing, spirit and consciousness…… Second Nature write and perform their own original songs in a unique style of their own. Their music has a meditative and soothing quality which will open your heart.

“Electric Wizardry” is Second Nature’s other album. Rob was blessed to meet Russell Hibbs in 2008, who is a well known singer-songwriter and poet in Australia. Collectively they wrote Electric Wizardry which is an experimental composition of spoken word- stories -songs and poems weaved into soundscapes. It journeys through many styles of music from tranquil sound journeys to psychedelic dubs and dance music.

The lyrics have spiritual essence and intelligence. Its not like anything you’ve heard before. The album is original, unique and witty in places. Something for everyone.
